MEET ANGELA

 

Angela (www.angelagulner.com) is a Minnesota native who moved to Los Angeles in 2011 after earning her MFA in Acting from the ART/MXAT Institute at Harvard University. She is an Adjunct Professor of Theater at California Lutheran University, with a special emphasis on Shakespeare. Angela has been seen on stage locally at A Noise Within in Pasadena (most recently as Desdemona in Othello and Medea in Argonautika) and at the Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival (a company member for five seasons) in Thousand Oaks. She's worked on-screen in countless independent films, and on television in GLOW, Single Parents, Silicon Valley, and Stalker.

In addition to her work as a teacher and an actor, Angela is a writer and producer -- and she is available for consultation on self-created-work and crowdfunding. Her viral independent pilot BINGE (www.bingetheseries.com) garnered over 1 million views on YouTube, write-ups in Bustle, Buzzfeed, Bust, Elite Daily, IndieWire, and more, and is currently in development for television. She and her team raised over $45,000 for a first season on IndieGoGo and have created a strong social media following.
